ABOUT THE IN HOUSE PROGRAM
Icetown is committed to offering an age appropriate and positive learning environment focused on long term athlete development principles (LTAD). Icetown's primary focus is on creating a "development zone" where kids learn life lessons through sport while rapidly developing their skills towards fulfilling their ultimate potential. We are completely against the hyper-competitive, adult focused, "win at all costs" culture and are committed to doing what's best for the athlete on and off the ice.
Practices are held at Icetown Carlsbad and games are played against local teams in the San Diego Metro Area.

-Half-ice games played 3 on 3 or 4 on 4
-Players encouraged to try all positions, even goalie! (don't worry, we have the gear)
Squirts (ages 10 and Under)
-Full-ice games played 5 on 5
-Players encouraged to try all positions, and the opportunity to play goalie full time is introduced here.
Peewee (ages 12 and Under)
-Full-ice games played 5 on 5
-Players encouraged to try all positions, and the opportunity to play goalie full time is available.
Bantam (ages 14 and Under)
-Full-ice games played 5 on 5
-Players encouraged to try all positions, and the opportunity to play goalie full time is available.
